Our specialty
since 1979 .

Fiberglass boards are bonded
into 30 inch-thick billets,
cut to
specific thickness and laminated
to a variety
of jackets. The
resulting product can be used
to
insulate large piping systems
and cylindrical vessels.
|

High density materials are used
to manufacture insulated pipe
supports for commercial
and
industrial applications. A
galvanized shield
is attached to
distribute the weight. The
insulated
support can be installed
at the same time as the
pipe,
providing a better fit and
reduced labor costs. |

IFI offers an insulated panel
product, with an inner core of
extruded or expanded
polystyrene,
polyisocyanurate or other
insulation,
sandwiched between
two facings made of aluminum or
fiberglass-reinforced plastic.
The panels are fabricated
to
specification and trimmed to size
for shipment
directly to the job site. |

Grinding wheels form elbow
insulation
up to 12.75 inches
O.D., made of polyisocyanurate
(urethane), Styrofoam®,
Foamglas®, fiberglass
or mineral
wool for hot or cold piping. For
large-diameter
piping, miters are
combined to form the fitting cover. |

IFI turns large "buns" of
polyisocyanurate
(urethane),
Foamglas® and Styrofoam® into
two-piece
pipe coverings. The
insulation can be fabricated
for
pipe diameters up to 24 inches.
For larger diameters,
curved side
wall segments are available. This
type
of pipe covering can be
furnished with a variety
of jackets. |

Many valves require inspection
and servicing. Conventional, hard
insulation must
be replaced after
removal. IFI offers removable,
replaceable insulation products
that slip over the
valve and are
secured with straps or Velcro.
The
insulation is sewn inside
silicone-impregnated, liquid-
resistant
jackets that resist
dirt and the elements. |

Cut-and-roll machines automatically
fabricate metal rolls to size, for
use as jackets
to protect insulation
materials against the elements
in outdoor applications. Aluminum
and stainless-steel
jackets are
available in smooth, stucco-
embossed,
or corrugated finishes. |
